Another milestone for Elsevier ScienceDirect and research community


1,000,000,000th article was downloaded on November 14th at ScienceDirect

It would be interesting to find out who downloaded that article and have an interview with that person....

Unfortunately the majority of people access SD via IP address recognition, so we can't identify who it was exactly - but we could probably identify the institute they worked at - which is also interesting... From an article perspective, we could also zero in on the article itself, but it would be a combination guesswork and science - not an exact representation
