We are creating a faceted classification of information objects for the dutch tax department. We noticed that the relation between metadata and an information object is either: - a pointer to information where the information is about the metadata - a filter to slice the available information into smaller portions
We are now thinking to use the second type (metadata that helps to filter) in facets. We want to put the metadata of the first type (the 'about' metadata) in a tag cloud. We want to use the tag cloud instead of the search result.
Do you think this will work? Have people done this before?
